Wedding Florist in Chappaqua, NY · Historic Inn, Estate Tent & Horse-Country Wedding Décor
Chappaqua weddings look like the roads that lead to them: stone walls, old trees, a long driveway, a tent behind a house that was there before the driveway was paved. We design for the inn, the estate, the barn and the temple. Let's Bloom Florist brings ceremony pieces built for lawns and wind, tent draping and lighting, long-table runners, church and temple florals, installations and rentals to Chappaqua and the horse country around it, with one crew and one email that answers within a business day.

Chappaqua Weddings: The Inn, the Estate, the Tent and the Temple
The historic inn
The old inns in and around Chappaqua come with rules and low ceilings and a hundred years of their own decor already in place: wallpaper, paneling, a mantel in every room. We pull the palette from the wallpaper and the scale from the mantel. Garland along the fireplace, heavier at one end. Urns on the hearth. A garland down the banister, which is the best-value piece in any old house. Low centerpieces under low chandeliers, and LED candles wherever the house forbids flame, which is usually everywhere. Dinner spreads across two or three rooms, so one flower and one ribbon repeat in every one of them, or the wedding reads as five rooms decorated by five people.
The estate and the tent
The lawns behind Chappaqua's houses were made for tents, and the ceremony goes under the biggest tree with two grounded pieces and nothing overhead, because a rented arch fighting the wind on an open lawn photographs worse than a good oak. The tent gets sidewalls up for the view and bistro lights for the night, the center poles get wrapped, the chart stands on its own legs at the top of the driveway, and the path from the porch to the tent gets lanterns, because at nine o'clock the walk is part of the design.
The temple and the churches
Temple Beth El and the churches in the village host the ceremonies, with the usual rules: freestanding chuppah, nothing on the pews, no flame, and altar or bimah flowers that may stay for the congregation. We design the ceremony to those rules and the reception separately, with the bouquet carrying the palette between them.

Step 2 · We design it, then we show you
A consultation, a deep dive into your design details, a walk-through of your venue where it helps, and a concept with palette, floor plan and stem list. When a design hangs on something a photograph won't settle, we'll mock the piece up, in our showroom or at the venue.

Wedding Designers for Chappaqua's Old Houses and Open Lawns
What grows here decides the flowers
Chappaqua sits in the best part of the county for local flowers: peonies for three weeks in June, dahlias from farms a few miles up the road from late August until the first frost, which lands in mid-October in the northern towns. A September wedding here can pull its whole palette from within twenty miles, and the wedding flowers in Westchester taste of it. The wedding ceremony décor under a tree and the wedding reception décor in the tent are designed for the season you actually chose.
Heat, cold and the weight of a chandelier
An August tent is ninety degrees by two; an October tent needs heaters, and heaters dry flowers the way heat wilts them. Anything hung from a tent needs the tent company's weight limit in writing. Our wedding draping and lighting crew and our floral installations and flower walls team plan for all of it, and the weighted bases come through our wedding décor rentals.

Questions From Couples Getting Married in Chappaqua
Do you decorate the historic inns around Chappaqua?
Yes, and we ask for each house's rules first. Mantel and banister garlands, urns, low centerpieces and LED candles are the usual answer.
Can you do a tent wedding at our home in Chappaqua?
Yes. We walk the property, put the ceremony under the best tree, and plan the tent's draping, lights, poles and floor.
Do you use local flowers?
Whenever they're better, which in June and September they are. Dahlias never come from anywhere else.
What about the temple's rules for a chuppah?
Freestanding, portable, fabric first, florals on the posts and the front edge. We confirm the specifics with the temple in writing.
