Ceremony Decorators Who Build for the Room You Booked
Only the part the camera sees
An arch is ten feet tall and the lens sees about four feet of it. The zone from the couple's knees to a foot above their heads is what shows up in the ceremony photos, the first-kiss photo and the one your mother frames. The rest is cropped, blurred or behind an officiant. So that's where the flowers go: dense in the window, sparse above it, almost nothing on the back, because no guest has ever walked around an arch to check. The same logic runs a chuppah or a mandap. Pillars and the front edge carry the photo; the inside of the canopy is beautiful and expensive and appears in very few frames. We'll say that out loud before you decide.
Wind, stone, stained glass and the sun at five o'clock
The venue decides half the ceremony design. On the river and the Sound, the wind is a guest, so pieces are grounded, weighted and built airy enough to let the breeze through instead of catching it like a sail. In a stone church, dark walls eat pastels and stained glass throws red and amber across everything, so white and green read and blush goes gray. On a west-facing lawn at five, an arch turns the couple into two silhouettes unless it's opened up in the middle or turned so the water is beside you instead of behind. We walk your venue at the hour you'll be married before we draw anything, and we ask the church for its rules in writing.
From the vows to the reception without paying twice
Ceremony flowers move. Two grounded arrangements walk over during cocktail hour and frame the band or the sweetheart table, aisle pieces get lifted onto the bar, and petals end up scattered around the cake. When the ceremony was designed in the same palette as the wedding reception décor, all that shuffling looks planned. Arches, moon gates and chuppah frames come through our wedding décor rentals, and the candles and uplights that make the arch read after dark come from our wedding draping and lighting crew. That's how a ceremony in Larchmont or Bronxville ends up looking like one wedding instead of two.

Do you rent ceremony arches and chuppahs?
Yes. Round, rectangular and asymmetrical arch frames, moon gates and chuppah frames, delivered and set by our crew, with or without florals.
Can the ceremony flowers be reused at the reception?
Almost always. We design them to move, and the move happens during cocktail hour so guests never see it.
What if our church doesn't allow certain décor?
Most don't allow tape on pews, aisle runners, fresh petals or open flame, and many keep the altar flowers afterward. We ask for the list early and design inside it.
How big should a ceremony arch be?
Big enough to read from the last row and not so big it swallows two people. In a ballroom with high ceilings that means ten feet; on a lawn with sixty chairs, often less.
