A Westchester Wedding Florist Who Designs the Whole Room
Most florists hand you flowers. We hand you a room. Let's Bloom Florist started as a wedding florist in Westchester and grew, one venue at a time, into a full event décor studio: florals, installations, draping, lighting and a curated rental collection. That last part matters more than it sounds. When the arch, the candelabras and the candle wall come off the same truck as the bouquets, the design holds together, the timeline holds together, and there's one person to email at eleven o'clock the night before.
We work the whole county. Estates in Bedford and Chappaqua, the clubs along the Sound in Rye and Larchmont, the ballrooms and hotels in White Plains, the churches and old houses in Bronxville and Scarsdale, and the river towns from Yonkers up to Croton. We cross into New Jersey and the city most weekends, which is how a Westchester studio ended up with a portfolio full of The Venetian, Park Chateau and a loft above Rockefeller Center. Ceremony flowers, reception décor, and everything guests see in between
A wedding is five or six moments guests actually remember, and flowers are in nearly all of them. The wedding ceremony décor is the first: an arch, a chuppah, two grounded pieces under a tree, an aisle that reads from the back row. Then the entrance, where welcome signs and seating charts do their quiet ninety seconds of work and the escort card wall gets photographed more than the arch. Then the doors open on the wedding reception décor, which is the moment couples cry, followed by four hours in which every guest sits eighteen inches from a centerpiece. We design all of it as one thing, in one palette, so the bouquet looks like it was pulled from a centerpiece and the boutonnieres look like they fell off the arch.
What wedding flowers cost in Westchester, NY — and what to ask before you hire
Everyone asks, and the honest answer is that three things move the number. Guest count first, because tables are where most of the budget lives and thirty tables is a different job from ten. Scale second: a ten-foot arch under a fourteen-foot ballroom ceiling, a hanging installation over the dance floor, a flower wall at the photo spot. And the flowers themselves, since peonies in June and dahlias in September cost a fraction of the same stems flown in out of season. We'll tell you where to spend and where to save on the first call, and where a decision hangs on a detail a photograph won't settle, we'll mock the piece up, because the cheap time to change your mind is early.
Before you hire anyone, ask to see a whole wedding, not just the flowers. A florist's portfolio shows arrangements; a designer's portfolio shows rooms. Ask whether they'll walk your venue, since the light and the ceiling and the wind decide half the design and nobody can decide it from a photo. Ask whether they'll mock a piece up if you need to see it in person. Rentals, draping and lighting, coordinated with the flowers rather than after them
Half of what makes a room look expensive isn't flowers. It's the wedding décor rentals under and around them, the candelabras and stands and chargers, and it's the wedding draping and lighting that decides what color the flowers will be at nine o'clock. Blue uplighting turns blush roses gray. Amber makes everything look like candlelight. Because we handle the rentals and coordinate the lighting ourselves, the linen matches the ribbon, the pin spots land on the centerpieces, and the floral installations and flower walls are rigged by people who've hung them before.
Engagement parties, bridal showers, mitzvahs and corporate events
Weddings are most of our calendar, not all of it. Engagement party and bridal shower décor is the wedding in miniature: a backdrop, a long table, a bouquet-sized arrangement in every room, built in place at a restaurant in Tarrytown or a backyard in Ardsley. Mitzvah and corporate event décor is the opposite problem, ballroom scale with a theme or a brand to carry, and the same trucks, crews and candle walls do that job too. If it needs a room to look like somebody meant it, we do it.

How far in advance should we book a wedding florist in Westchester?
Nine to twelve months for a Saturday between May and October, since our calendar and the venues' calendars fill in the same order. Six months is workable for other dates, and we've built beautiful weddings in eight weeks when a date opened up. Email us the date and we'll tell you the same day.
Do you do the whole design or just the flowers?
Either. Some couples hire us for wedding flowers alone. Most hire us for the full room: florals, installations, draping, lighting and rentals, designed and installed by one team.

Can you handle a room flip if our ceremony and reception are in the same room?
Yes, and it's one of our favorite parts. We design the room twice, pre-set what we can, and flip it during cocktail hour with our own crew, lighting changes included.
Do you work with wedding planners?
