Let's Bloom Florist · Engagement Party & Bridal Shower Décor

Engagement Party & Bridal Shower Décor in Westchester, NY · Backdrops, Tablescapes & Photo Moments

Thirty people in the back room of a restaurant in Tarrytown. Forty on a lawn in Larchmont. A bridal shower brunch at a club in Rye. Small rooms and close guests, where every stem is seen from two feet away and nothing hides. We design engagement party and bridal shower décor as the wedding preview it is: one backdrop, one long table, a bouquet-sized arrangement in every corner, built in place an hour before anyone arrives.

What We Design for Engagement Parties and Showers

  • Photo backdrop

A small flower wall, a garland-framed mantel, a modest arch. The one spot everyone gathers for the picture.

  • Long-table runner

Garland, bud vases and low compotes with candles, under ten inches so people can talk across it.

  • Bridal shower florals

Brunch tables, a bouquet for the bride-to-be, small arrangements for the gift and dessert tables.

  • Welcome & entrance piece

A small arrangement at the door, or a printed menu at each place with a stem laid across it.

  • Balloon-free styling

Florals, candles and fabric do the work. We'll coordinate with your balloon vendor if you want them too.

  • Restaurant coordination

Table sizes, candle rules, arrival window. We ask the restaurant so you don't have to.

  • Take-home bud vases

Guests carry the flowers out, which is what the flowers were for anyway.

Simple process

How Our Wedding Designers Work in Westchester, NY

  1. 1

Step 1 · Send the inquiry

Fill in the form or email inquiries@letsbloomflorist.com. Tell us the date, the venue, the guest count and the number you're working with. One of our lead designers will get back to you.

  2. 2

Step 2 · We design it, then we show you

A consultation, a deep dive into your design details, a walk-through of your venue where it helps, and a concept with palette, floor plan and stem list. When a design hangs on something a photograph won't settle, we'll mock the piece up, in our showroom or at the venue.

  3. 3

Step 3 · We build, install, flip and breakdown

We condition the flowers, design the arrangements, and flip the room into something that turns heads. Then we take it all down and leave behind nothing but beautiful memories.

Engagement Party Decorators for Rooms Where Nothing Hides

Small means closer, not simpler

At two hundred guests the room does the work and the eye averages thirty tables into a mood. At thirty, there's one table and everyone at it can count the roses. So the quantity drops and the standard climbs: fewer stems, better stems, longer looks. This is the party where the garden roses and the peonies make sense, because the per-stem budget can rise while the stem count falls. Couples expect a small event to cost a tenth of a wedding. It's usually closer to a quarter, because labor doesn't shrink as fast as the guest list, and because the bouquet is a better bouquet.

The backdrop that's already there

No arch. An arch in front of thirty chairs looks like a stage that forgot its play. Small celebrations happen in front of something that exists: a fireplace in a restaurant's private room, a bay window, a garden gate, the hedge at the back of a yard in Ardsley that turns out to be a better backdrop than anything we could build. We dress that. A garland along the mantel with a heavier cluster at one end, two urns on the front steps, one asymmetrical piece on a windowsill. Ten stems in the right spot beat two hundred in a rented frame, and they look like they belong to the room, because they do.

The preview of the wedding

An engagement party is the first time your guests see your palette, so we treat it as the opening line of the same story. The colors, the ribbon, the one flower that will show up again at the ceremony a year later. Couples who go on to book full wedding design in Westchester with us get that continuity for free, and the bouquet-sized arrangements from a shower at a club in Rye or a brunch in Scarsdale become the sketch for the wedding flowers in Westchester that follow. The chairs, mirrors and stands come through our wedding décor rentals, scaled down.

FAQ

Questions About Engagement Party & Bridal Shower Décor in Westchester

What's a realistic budget for engagement party flowers?

It depends on guest count and whether there's a backdrop, but a long-table runner, an entrance piece and a photo moment for thirty to fifty guests is a modest order compared to a wedding. We'll give you a number on the first call.

Do you decorate restaurants and private homes?

Constantly. We confirm table sizes, candle rules and the arrival window with the restaurant, and we build in place because there's rarely anywhere to store flowers.

How early should we book a shower or engagement party?

Six to eight weeks is comfortable. We've done it in two when a date moved.

Can the décor match our wedding design?

Yes, and it should. If we're doing both, the engagement party is designed as the first chapter of the wedding.
