Wedding Florist Bronx
The Bronx is the only borough where a couple can marry in a botanical garden, a fishing village and a room above a bakery within the same weekend. As a wedding florist Bronx couples can book from City Island to Riverdale, we design to each room's proportions. Glasshouses and estate gardens run from Bronx Park to the Riverdale ridge above the Hudson, while City Island brings wooden rooms and the Sound into the ceremony plan. One bridge serves the island. In Morris Park, Throgs Neck and Pelham Bay, family halls have hosted weddings for three generations. Each of them gets bouquets, structures, draping, lighting and rentals from a single crew. Email inquiries@letsbloomflorist.com with a date and a venue and we'll tell you within one business day whether we're free.

What We Know About Getting Married in the Bronx
Weddings Inside a Garden
The Bronx holds the city's serious gardens: a botanical garden with glasshouses, a public estate garden above the Hudson at Riverdale, the open ground at Pelham Bay. These are institutions rather than venues, and they behave like it. Nothing goes into a bed, nothing stakes into a lawn, and permits set where you can and can't stand. Under a conservatory's glass, light is the design problem rather than the flowers: it falls straight down at two in the afternoon and flattens the shadows, then changes direction by five. The gardens also mean you're competing with what's already blooming, so the palette is chosen against the season outside rather than in spite of it.
City Island
Wood-paneled rooms look onto boats rather than a skyline. That is a City Island wedding: dark timber behind the tables, masts beyond the windows and the Sound changing color through dinner. The breeze is part of the day, especially on a waterside deck, where a tall spray can lean before the couple has finished their vows. We favor broad, low floral shapes in substantial bowls, with short stems held close together rather than loose branches reaching into the wind. Candle flames belong inside deep glass. Indoors, cream roses and apricot flowers bring warmth against the paneling without covering the view. A room above the water does not need ballroom height; it needs flowers a guest can see closely and a window left open to the boats.
The Neighborhood Halls
Morris Park, Throgs Neck, Country Club, Pelham Bay, Van Nest. Family-run rooms that have been running weddings for three generations, often two or three in a night, frequently upstairs above a street with no dock and no driveway. That decides the build. Anything large is carried in pieces and assembled in the room, and the load-in happens around whatever wedding finished the night before. These are also rooms where families have very specific expectations, often carried down from a grandparent's wedding in the same building. We ask what the family has always done before we suggest anything, because on that kind of night the tradition matters more than the trend.
Riverdale and the Ridge
High ground above the Hudson, with houses and private-school campuses that look nothing like the rest of the borough, and views west across the river. A Riverdale property may put dinner on a terrace above a steep garden. We map the steps, handrails and power outlets before placing lanterns or a floral stand. At nine, the return route to the house needs to remain visible without lighting the neighboring windows. And it's the closest wedding market to our studio of anywhere we work, which matters on a morning when a table gets added at nine.
"Where flowers bloom, so does hope."
Trusted Wedding Decorators in the Bronx
Garden, hall and rentals on one Bronx truck
Glasshouse ceremony pieces, Morris Park hall draping and candelabras leave the studio together. Nobody has to coordinate three vendors across two rooms on the same afternoon.
We stand in the conservatory at two
Before sketching, we visit a garden site at the hour of the ceremony. Overhead glass light at two looks nothing like five, and the palette is picked against what is blooming outside.
A hundred on City Island or three hundred upstairs
A City Island waterfront room and a Throgs Neck hall receive the same finish. Small wooden rooms get fewer, better stems; big halls get height that reads from the bandstand.
We know the one bridge and the stairs
City Island has a single bridge and no staging space, and many Bronx halls sit above a street with no driveway. Pieces are sized to be carried before the design is signed.

How Our Wedding Designers Work in the Bronx
- 1
Step 1 · Send the inquiry
Fill in the form or email inquiries@letsbloomflorist.com. Tell us the date, the venue, the guest count and the number you're working with. One of our lead designers will get back to you.
- 2
Step 2 · We design it, then we show you
A consultation, a deep dive into your design details, a walk-through of your venue where it helps, and a concept with palette, floor plan and stem list. When a design hangs on something a photograph won't settle, we'll mock the piece up, in our showroom or at the venue.

Step 3 · We build, install, flip and breakdown
We condition the flowers, design the arrangements, and flip the room into something that turns heads. Then we take it all down and leave behind nothing but beautiful memories.
Planning Bronx Wedding Flowers & Décor
What Bronx Couples Book
Garden couples book the ceremony first: freestanding structures that satisfy the permit, then Wedding Flowers chosen against whatever is in the beds that month. City Island couples book small and close, with runners and low candles instead of height. Hall couples book the room, pairing tall pieces on the head and front tables with Wedding Reception Décor everywhere else. Plenty of Bronx weddings combine two of these in one day, and the bouquet becomes the single thread between a garden afternoon and an evening upstairs in Van Nest.
What Drives The Cost Here
Access moves the number more than guest count. An upstairs hall with no driveway means pieces built in sections and a longer crew call, and a garden permit window can split the install into two visits. Glasshouse light may call for Wedding Draping & Lighting even in daylight, because overhead sun flattens color early in the afternoon. Stem quality matters more in a small City Island room, where each arrangement is seen from a few feet away. Structures a hall does not keep arrive with us as Wedding Décor Rentals.
A Family Hall With Forty Years Of History
A wedding decorator Bronx families book may be working in a hall they have used for forty years: the grandparents' reception, a christening, three cousins' weddings. That history is part of the brief. We ask which room the family always takes, where the head table has always stood and what flowers show up in the old photographs, then work from there. A tradition can be kept exactly and refreshed around its edges, with Full Wedding & Event Design setting a palette that looks like it belongs in the family album.

Questions From Couples Getting Married in the Bronx
Do you work at Bronx venues?
Yes, across the borough: the gardens, City Island, the family halls through Morris Park and Throgs Neck, and the houses and campuses in Riverdale. Send us your venue and date and we'll confirm within one business day whether the weekend is open.
Can you install at a botanical garden or park venue?
Yes. Garden and park sites issue permits that set where structures may stand, and nothing goes into a bed or stakes into a lawn. We work from freestanding pieces on heavy bases and follow the site's own schedule for setup and removal.
Can you do a wedding on City Island?
Yes. The rooms are small and there is one road in, so pieces are sized to be hand-carried and the design uses fewer, better stems. Anything outdoors is built low and heavy for the Sound.
Can you handle a three-hundred-guest hall?
Yes. We plan the load-in around the hall's own calendar, carry large pieces in sections when the room is upstairs, and put height where it reads from the back of the room.
Do you rent arches, chuppahs, candelabras and candle walls?
Yes. They come as part of the design, and our crew delivers, sets and takes them down on the day, so the hall has nothing to return.
